About
I am committed to the values of fairness and respect and have worked in the intellectual property field for nearly 20 years.

My name is Stéphanie Martin and I am a legal counsel. I have held various positions in the fields of research, standardisation and European affairs, especially in the fight against counterfeiting and the promotion of the right of audiovisual authors to fair remuneration.

My experience across various sectors has given me a broad perspective on issues affecting the creative, technical and scientific sectors. In particular, I:
- advised researchers, IT engineers and collective rights management organisations
- worked in the fight against counterfeiting
- provided trainings to promote research valorisation (copyright on texts and images, patents,…)
- rolled out a trade secret strategy to protect algorithms
- contributed to the protection of software
I hold a Master’s degree in Law and International Solidarity and a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property law. My choices were driven by my desire to defend others’ rights.
Why did I create Aquarelle Consulting?
I bring cross-sector experience in protecting intellectual property rights.
I am eager to work directly with creators. I want to meet them, understand their situations and their work, and help them take an active role in protecting their rights while benefiting from my expertise.
“I believe performers, creators, and inventors inspire us to dream, move forward, and grow. In other words, they help us see the colors of the world—hence the name ‘Aquarelle’.”
